Materials: Professional fluid acrylics on 300gsm watercolour paper. 
 
Although this painting was inspired by a trip to Portugal in the height of summer, I felt that its stone architecture reminded me of homes in South Australia, perched on top of the hill in parched lands. I love the orange tones in this which help convey the heat we felt during our stay.
