Julie's paintings showcase places in Noosa and Brisbane that have caught her eye and infiltrated her heart. These are hopefully recognisable to other people who have visited and loved these areas too. The paintings are rendered in Julie's iconic shape-based style, and aim to create a happy vibe, reflecting her feelings about these special places.
There will be 9 new mid-to-large paintings, and lots of small framed studies.

Edit: The paintings are now hung and available to see at Montville Art Gallery!

OCTOBER 2022
FINALIST x National Emerging Art Prize
I am pleased to announce that "Alchemy" has been shortlisted as a finalist in the NEAP (National Emerging Art Prize) 2022!
The announcement is a little bittersweet as I had sold this painting not long before (thinking it wouldn't get to the finals - doh!), which now means it's out of the running for the win.
Still, it's a huge achievement for me, and I'm looking forward to following up with a few opportunities that have come because of it.
If you want to read more about the painting, I've written a blog post here.
