"How would you describe your art style?"

About Julie's unique art style

Sometimes likened to David Hockney's bright works, or even Rousseau's simplified forms, it can be a conundrum to try and put Julie's work into a specific category.

This is because her style that has been formed out of the love of woodcut art as well as children's contemporary illustration. With a background in graphic design, and a fondness for paring things down to their simplest elements, Julie strives to interpret the landscape as its essential shapes combined with atmospheric lighting.
