51x51cm original painting of iconic Noosa restaurant "Rickys" viewed from the Noosa River.
Although one of the most special views of the Noosa River is from the window of Rickys gazing out at sunset, this view looking back towards the building and the park that surrounds it, is taken from the Noosa ferry.
When the kids were younger, doing a morning trip from the Tewantin Marina to Noosa Heads on a sunny morning was one of the most beautiful treats we could do within the area. It was serene, relaxing and holiday-like. One of the reasons I enjoy painting so much, is it helps cement these enjoyable moments within my memory (which at times can be rather sieve-like) and remind me of occasions where all was right with the world. This one is a personal favourite.
