The magic of Noosa Heads

Whenever I visit Noosa Main Beach, I seem to always capture the same photo of the headland. But really, they're not the same photo. The composition might be the same, but the colours, clouds, atmosphere seem different each time.

Maybe one day, like Matisse and his batch of paintings of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, I will make paintings of each of the moments. I don't know what it is about the headland, or even when you walk further round the corner towards Dolphin Point, but there's a certain kind of magic that you feel when you're there. It's special. And maybe one day I'll be able to make a painting that captures how special it is.
